Customer reviews

Your customers' reviews print on the “In their words” page of your proposals. You collect them once in the Library and choose which ones to use.

Open Library and click the Reviews tab.

The Reviews tab in the Library, with Type a review and Paste from a review site
  1. 1Type one in yourself.
  2. 2Paste a page of reviews from Google, Yelp, Houzz or anywhere else.

Paste reviews from a review site

  1. Copy the reviews

Open your reviews on the site. Click More on any long review first so the whole thing shows. Then select from the first reviewer’s name to the end of the last review, and copy.

  2. Paste them in

Click Paste from a review site, paste into the box, pick which site they came from, and click Bring them in.

The Bring in your reviews window with steps, a paste box and a site picker
  3. Approve the ones you want

New reviews are marked New and don’t print anywhere yet. Read them and click Approve on the ones you want, or Approve all.

What we do and don’t change

  • Every review is kept word for word. We only tidy extra spaces.
  • A star rating or date is only kept if the site showed one. We never add a rating.
  • If a review was cut short on the site (“… More”), we flag it so you can paste the full text.
  • A page never prints two reviews from the same person, even if they reviewed you on two sites.

Which reviews print

Approved reviews print on your In their words page. The On every new proposal box shows which ones a new proposal starts with. Click Change these to pick different ones. You can also swap reviews on a single proposal in the editor. See How we use AI for how pasted reviews are read.
